-KMS CALIFORNIA 2010 CAMPAIGN BOOK OFFERS STYLISTS VERSATILITY, INSPIRATION AND FREEDOM OF EXPRESSION -

KMS California is pleased to present its new Campaign for 2010, Hotel California. This year’s exciting offering is provided in two books—the 2010 Campaign Look Book and the companion Technical Guide. While the 2010 Campaign Look Book provides both clients and stylists with a variety of inspirational, wearable looks to motivate both to explore their personal style and creativity, the accompanying Technical Guide, designed for stylists only, details the steps of each cut and style showcased in the Campaign Book. Created with the individual in mind, this year’s Campaign offers five women’s haircuts and three men’s haircuts, along with all the techniques and products for the variety of finished styles. It’s an amazing value for stylists and clients—a beautiful Campaign Look Book to display in the salon reception area to inspire new ideas and launch conversations about exciting new styles and services, and the accompanying Technical Guide to provide stylists with all of the how-tos for every look in the campaign.

KMS California International Artistic Directors Edwin Johnston and Clive Allwright created the looks that are sure to capture stylists’ imaginations with a broad portfolio of versatile styles. Photographed at “The Hotel California,” a place that encourages freedom of expression, experimentation and exploration, the Campaign Look Book follows a group of eclectic individuals gathered for a breezy, warm-weather weekend. Relaxing poolside, dressing up for dinner and even behind “closed doors,” the book showcases how these newest looks can be adapted to suit a variety of clients’ lifestyles and moods, as well as the occasions in their lives.

“The 2010 Campaign Technical Guide not only encourages stylists to learn these new haircuts,” says Johnston, “it provides them with the cutting edge techniques that will help give their clients the up-to-the-minute looks they request.” Allwright adds, “The guide also illustrates the fact that the finish of a haircut is just as important as the cut itself. So stylists will learn how to take one versatile haircut and transform it into a variety of styles.” Additionally, the Technical Guide also provides stylists with detailed step-by-steps of the KMS California products used to create each look. It also features the newest product additions to the KMS California family.

The KMS California 2010 Campaign Look Book and Technical Guide will be available in January 2010 to professional stylists worldwide.
